Does Publix give 10 gift cards for flu shots? ›

A pharmacist confirms that without insurance, the cost will be between $50 and $60. Publix used to offer $10 to people who got the flu shot there, but a pharmacist confirmed to me that that is no longer the case.

The Gift Card Number is the 19 Digit gift card number provided on the back of the card.

All flu vaccines for the 2023-2024 season will be quadrivalent (four-component). Most will be thimerosal-free or thimerosal-reduced vaccines (91%), and about 21% of flu vaccines will be egg-free.

On Publix.com:

Please note: Fluad, a flu vaccine for adults age 65 and older, is not covered under the associate free flu shot program. However, associates enrolled in the Publix BCBS PPO Plan or Medicare Part B can receive Fluad free at a Publix Pharmacy.

Gift cards stored in your Club Publix account can be used for in-store purchases when you pay with the Publix app at Publix Super Markets, Publix Liquors, or Publix Pharmacies. They can also be used for in-store pickup orders placed online.
