Convergence Walkthrough

When you are ready to explore the seafloor shrine, head to Harve Village. A mysterious castle has emerged from the waters in the bay, and a soldier has informed us that a secret entrance has opened up in the depths of the Stormwind Cave.

We have explored this cave once before as a part of the Monster Culling quest, so this second trip through is just business as usual. Remember that Saurians have tough skin that protects them from attacks to their body, but their tails are their weak point so always try to attack they from behind.

Make your way through the cave and into the deepest chamber, which is illuminated by a blue light. If you came through this room before you will remember that the doorway in the back was blocked by some large rocks, but now the path is clear and you can walk directly into the Seafloor Shrine.

As you enter the shrine you will see a locked door on your left and stairs on your right. Go down the stairs to find a large room with some minor loot in it, as well as some mining spots. When you are done looking around, exit this room via the hallway on the southside and you will find yourself in a large throne room of sorts, with a mysterious figure sitting in the middle.

Jump down and approach the figure to trigger a cutscene where the figure introduces himself as Rothais, the founder of the kingdom of Vermund. Ask him about the godsway and he will inform you that the godsway can mimic the Arisen’s power because it is made from the souls of past Arisens. He then hands over a powerful godsway: the Dulled Godbane Blade, a sword made of his own soul. He says it is withered, but maybe the Battahli can find a way to restore it.

At the end of this conversation the quest will be complete. Your reward is 15,000 gold, 4000 xp, and a Panacea. However, there is still the matter of escaping the Seafloor Shrine. Make your way up to the door on the south side of the throne room.

There is a chest directly next to the doorway with a Ferrystone inside.

Head through the door and down the hall which brings you to a large elevator. Activate it using the godsway then ride it up to the surface. Once you reach the top, head through the only exit and into a new cave.

When you encounter the split in the path start by going right. This leads to a dead end where you will find a chest containing the Incanter’s Coat.

Backtrack and take the left path and you will soon find yourself in the castle’s dungeon. Explore all of the open cells to find a few treasure chests with Miner’s Shirt and Laborer’s Trousers inside. At the end of the hall you will find a Makeshift Gaol Key on the floor.

You can use this to open up the one locked cell which has two chests inside. Open them to find Rotten Harspud and a Ring of Profusion.

Exit the dungeon using the stairs at the end of the hall and you will find yourself in the main hall. The castle is, of course, still entirely surrounded by water, so we will need to explore a bit to find a way back to the mainland.

Cross the main hall and make your way up to the second floor. There is a broken platform on the south side of this room where you can find a chest with a Allheal Elixir inside. You will need to do a little parkour to access it.

There is a second chest to be found on the east side of the second floor, this one contains the Uniter’s Mantle. Last but not least, return to the second floor southside where there is an open door leading into a tower. Ascend the stairs in the tower to reach the top, where there is a chest with a Wakestone Shard inside.

You will notice that this tower is connected to another by a long bridge. Cross the bridge to get into the next tower, where you will find yet another chest with the Stargazer’s Garb inside. From here you can jump out the tower window and onto the rocks below, which will connect you back to the mainland.

This will place you on the beach where we first found Ambrosius looking for crystal shards. From here we can easily make our way back to Bakbattahl where our next quest, A New Godsway, awaits us.
